Portrait of a Woman

I was a teenager we would meet and discuss books and literature and life, and I remember sitting in her library discussing “a room of one’s own” my Virginia wolf and discussing how she’d made this room her own. A large portrait of a woman ( my sister) on one wall, painted by her daughter . And having this sense of being proud of all these different ways to be a woman.
